Show Error Message If Data Is Missing
Hi Excel Experts,
Having a little problem with this reporting process. Basically, there are 3 people that maintain individual excel worksheets to track their deals (all the worksheets have the same columns and layouts). They each send me their sheets on a weekly basis so that I can add to a MASTER sheet and complete reporting.
Problem is that often times, data is missing from the sheets when they're sent to me and it screws up the numbers in my reporting. I usually have to go back and ask the person "Hey, you didn't fill this out in your sheet. What's supposed to go here?" I was wondering if there was a way that Excel could display an error message to that person if the data is not filled out.
Please find a sample attached. Since my reporting shows weekly progressions of deals, I really need DATES and certain terms to be filled in. So for example, B5 is set to "Deal Signed" but is missing a date in D5 and the term in E5. Is there a way that an error message can be generated if they try to close the report without these items being filled out?
Any help is appreciated!
