picking the data

Hi,

Can anyone give me the script for picking up the data from specific cells like D3, F8 n k10 in Work book A to Work book without opening the worksheets.

You do not need a script

Try with formula: =[filename]sheetname!cellreference.

Thanks for the information.

but already i have a script in creating new work book and saving it on a different path. but before saving that sheet i need to capture few fields from my base data. hence i requirested the script to insert in my macro.

hope i am clear.
