How do you lock the spreadsheet so nobody can fiddle with it?

Lock Excel
hi Jamie.
You need to add sheet protection.
steps:
Select all the cells, right click => format cells => protection => Select LOCKED
In Excel 2007, select the Review tab from the ribbon, and click on protect sheet.
in Excel 2003, go:
Tools => protection => protect sheet.
Enter a password that you won't forget... If u do forget it, you won't be able to modify it yourself !

Error after locked
Yes i did it but a problem i am facing is that whole sheet will be locked but i want a cell without locking,
example if i made a vlookup program and i enter any value then it give me error of password and i am unable to enter value.
Please suggest.
