Response to Need help to gather staffs times report

Martin

attached is a test file.. at the moment it just collates data from 53 onboard timesheets. - This is just for test and development

I'd appreciate if you'd just check and see if if it's heading in the right direction.

There are 2 command buttons on the red tabbed Master sheet. one to collate the data, the other to empty it.

Thank you so much. We are definitely heading in the right direction.

But as you can see in the file I've send you there already is a total sheet named 'TOTAL' and that is displaying the individual employees total. I want to sum across all these totals into a new workbook. So there would be 50 of the files i've send you. Each with one total sheet.

I want to have a single master workbook with one mastertotal sheet where all the 50 totals are gathered in a sum whenever i want it and always showing the latest updates when employees change day by day.

Just to make things clear: I

Just to make things clear:

I want one master workbook which summes all the totals (the last sheet in the workbook i've attached).

The master worksheet shall not be combined to the employees workbook but have its own.

The file i've attached before is representing the week numbers and in the end there is a total of the employees working hours and categories. That totalsheet must be summed through all the workbooks into the master.

Martin, Two new files attached to response 2.. These should be much closer to what you are looking for.

oops :-)

I didn't notice the individuals totals LOL.. That makes it a lot quicker and simpler.

the file i sent was a copy just for test an development to set up the code and verify i was summing the correct numbers. once i've got everything working on the test model i'll transfer the coding to the main prototype.

unfortunately i can't spend any time on it today though
