lock cells in excel sheet after paste

Hello

I want to know , can we lock cells in excel sheet after we paste data on it ? that make cells uneditable after paste.

I mean , to make the cell locked after we paste data
then the data on the cell can not be changed
is there any way to do that?

Lock Data Cells

Hi,

One way to solve this problem.

Step 1 : Paste your data

Step 2 : Go to Review Tab - Click on Allow User to Edit Ranges

Step 3: Click New then drag and select a other then data Row & Columns - Ok

Step 4 : Click Protect sheet and enter your password.
