Whose got the brains to solve my problem

Look at my simple sheet and tell me how I can find the matching place where in this case the X is .
So how do I match the description " Toren connectie niet goed" with the column of the month FEB ??
Both need to be searched for ! So one var = description ,and the other var = month ( FEB in this case.)
Then the answer is placed in the corresponding cell ( X crossed)

I get stuck from any approach.

as the test files stated when opened, i have one column with descriptions and 12 other columns with months.

I need to find the match of description and place a number in the corresponding cell under the wanted month. The file speaks for itself I think.
So I know how to find the var ( description) but I do not know how to make the script go to the desired cell in the month column.
As the months change columns I do not have a fixed point to search for.
So how to make a Do Loop that searches for the desired description and at the same time find the month cell to be filled.

Try OFFSET function

I am not sure what you want. However, I think that you haven't included all data in example file.
Anyway, try using OFFSET function because months change columns.

As Nick I am also not sure what your question is and what you are looking for the file should do for you?

Misschien zou je het in het Nederlands kunnen uitleggen en dan kan ik misschien helpen?
