Rectifying Charts or creating Charts in Excel 2010 - need help
Hello.
I need some urgent help.
Some tables and charts have been created from the data in worksheet 'InTake Log'. However, these tables and charts do not give the desired result. Changes needed are detailed below. I need to be able to continue to create the tables and charts by just entering the required dates as under the tab 'Date Selection'.
Data to be used is under worksheet 'InTake Log'. Other worksheets can be ignored.
- Column D (Contact Dept): Dept that has asked for the Change
- Column E: Date the request was received
- Column G (SLA achieved - History): This is not the state the item is today. This column indicates whether the item was completed "In Time" at time of completion or whether the item was "Overdue" for completion at the time of completion
- Column H (Due Date): This is the due date that was originally assigned to this item. This date will apply if no date has been entered in Column I
- Column I (Revised Due Date): A date will be entered here ONLY if the due date has been revised. This will not happen for every item. If due date has been revised, the date in Column I will apply and the date in Column H needs to be ignored.
- Column J shows the date the item was completed
CHANGES/CORRECTIONS NEEDED
PLEASE INCLUDE BOTH THE TABLE AND CHART
PLEASE HAVE THE COLOURS ONLY IN BLUE AND WITHOUT SHADOWS OR 3D
BY CONTACT DEPT:
- This chart needs to show the trend in the number of requests being received from each Contact Department (Column D). i.e. need to see the number of requests from each Dept by date and how compares between Depts
- Maybe Chart Type should be Stacked Line so the trend can be seen?
- Please remove Appropriate and Inappropriate (this exists on current chart and not required)
INAPPROPRIATE FOR PDA:
- Whether the item is appropriate or inappropriate shows under Column O
- This chart needs to show the number of Inappropriate Requests - no need to show number of Appropriate requests
- Need to show the trend in the numbers of Inappropriate requests being received by Date Received (Column E) and Contact Department (Column D)
- What type of chart will show this best? Stacked Line?
- I guess we'll need to have Date Received on one axis and Contact Dept on another axis - I'm not sure
SLA, IF ACHIEVED - HISTORY
- This is good as pie chart.
- However, please remove Appropriate and Inapproprioate (this exists on current chart and not required)
- Need to show split between Overdue and In Time from Column G - % of Overdue and % of In Time
SLA ACHIEVED - ACTUALS
- This chart does not seem to be working correctly?
- Need to show the trend line in number of days taken to complete an item and the overall average for the period selected under "Date Selection"
