Help in copying formula

please help when i copied the formula #value! came out  but when i checked the fomula its ok

it seemed that it didnt capture the numbers in the cell it is supposed to compute

not a number

hi Ron... your problem is that your numbers are not numbers Have a look on that line, and you will see this:

"      33,015.34 " (cell W8)

Excel understands it as a piece of text due to the extra space around the number.

Solution:

  1. Select cell W8
  2. Press F2
  3. Press HOME
  4. Press SHIFT, hold it down, and press the right arrow once
  5. Press CTRL + C
  6. Press Escape
  7. Press CTRL + H (to replace)
  8. Select the "Find What" field
  9. Press CTRL + V (to paste)
  10. Press ALT + A (to replace All)
