Excel 2007 sheet taking long time to open

Hi guys,

 

I have an excel sheet that has formulas spreaded from A to AM rows and nearly to 60k columns. all the rows and columsn are blank with no data as users will use them ony when they want and delete after their work.It's also a password protected read only sheet. Until few days back it used to open very fast , but from yesterday its taking nearly 1 to 2 minutes to open that excel sheet. Could you help me please why it is taking too long.

try changing calculation to manual, saving the sheet, and closing.

it might be trying to calculate on opening

Alternatively, investigate if there's are any volatile functions you can remove.
