Suppose you have data in rows, and you want to convert it to columns, how can you do that in Excel ?

• Use the TRANSPOSE function
• TRANSPOSE will flip data 90 degrees to convert row data to column data and vice versa.

Here's a screen shot of our data in Excel:

Steps:

1. Enter the formula: =TRANSPOSE(B8:B10) in cell E7
2. Select Range E7:G7
3. Press F2, then CTRL and SHIFT and ENTER

NOTE: TRANSPOSE is an Array function.
