Nick has an expense tracker sheet here. For those of us who use financial software like quicken, there is a tool that will export Microsoft Money data to excel.

I switched from excel to MS Money for this and for its Win-Mobile version. Quicken/Money allow you to create a lot of reports, but some of us may want to create our own reports. I do and I use this.

My excel has pivots on a list/table. That list/table is imported data from MS-Money. When you come in, you can refresh that money data and then you can refresh the pivots. I got some nice pivot charts to sugar coat the bad credit card transactions :)
