My currency sign was replaced by generic currency sign (Excel 2010)
Hi Everyone,
I have a problem with lots of excel files that I received recently.
Some of the values are set with generic currency sign (“¤”) instead of my regional currency sign.
My windows 7 settings are ok when I checked the Currency (under Control Panel -> Region and Language -> Formats -> additional Settings -> Currency).
I work with Excel 2010 and when I check the cell format, I can it is set to “Custom” with this Type:
_-"?¤?"* #,##0_-;-"?¤?"* #,##0_-;_-"?¤?"* "-"??_-;_-@_-
How can I fix this so all those generic signs would be replaced with my local currency sign?
I have hundreds of those cells and I can’t just select them manually.
I'm attaching here a small part of the file (Its in Hebrew (-: ), you can see such a cell for example at H77.
Tnx, Yaniv.
