80. Excel Tips - Toggle The Screen Lock In Function

This tip is something you would never discover on your own, and can be a massive annoyance reducer:
- Pressing F2 toggles between scrolling into the formula and scrolling on the sheet
It's not immdiately obvious what I am talking about, so here's an example.
Here's our data in Excel:
Steps:

Right click on the chart

Choose "select Data"

Click in the chart data range

Press the left arrow key

NOTE: When you do this, instead of moving one character to the left in the function text, it changes the source range

Press Escape, and go back to stage 2.

Now, before pressing the left arrow key, this time press F2
-
NOTE: This time, instead changing the source range, it moves one character to the left and allows you to manually type in the change to your source data
